SuccessCX Pty Ltd (“SuccessCX”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals (“you”) and ensuring compliance with applicable privacy laws in Australia and New Zealand. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. SuccessCX’s business and the majority of its employees are based in Australia.
Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to all personal information collected by SuccessCX during the course of our business providing IT products and services, including consulting, support, and software solutions, to clients in Australia, New Zealand, and globally.
What is Personal Information and What Do We Collect
In Australia, ‘personal information’ is any information or an opinion about an identified individual, or an individual who is reasonably identifiable.
In New Zealand, ‘personal information’ is information about an identifiable individual; and includes information relating to a death that is maintained by the Registrar-General under the Births, Deaths, Marriages, and Relationships Registration Act 1995 or any former Act (as defined in section 2 of the Births, Deaths, Marriages, and Relationships Registration Act 1995).
We will, from time to time, collect personal information, including but not limited to:

- Email address
- Phone number
- Job title and company details
- IP address and device information
- Usage data from our platforms and services
- Any other information provided or collected during the delivery of our products and services and part of our business activities, including but not limited to:
- Bank account details
- Delivery and billing address
- Information about sales and purchases.
What Credit Card Information Do We Collect
If you elect to pay for our products and/or services online using your credit card your credit card details are not stored by us. Payment is processed via a third party payment platform. These third parties provide us with minimal credit card information, such as transaction details like the transaction ID, the amount, customer's name, email address, address but not the full credit card number or security code.
What is Sensitive Information and What Do We Collect
Sensitive information is defined in the Australian Privacy Act to include information or opinion about such things as an individual's racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, membership of a political association, religious or philosophical beliefs, membership of a trade union or other professional body, criminal record or health information.
Sensitive information will be used by us only:
- For the primary purpose for which it was obtained
- For a secondary purpose that is directly related to the primary purpose
- With your consent; or where required or authorised by law.
How We Collect Personal Information
Personal information is collected through:
- Direct interactions and correspondence (e.g., phone, email, web forms)
- Use of our websites, platforms and social media
- Media and publications
- When you engage us as a business, including purchasing our products, client onboarding and services delivery
- Third-party integrations and referrals
- Vendor partners
- Publicly available sources
- Industry events i.e. conferences
Where reasonable and practicable to do so, we will collect your Personal Information only from you. However, in some circumstances we may be provided with information by third parties. In such a case we will take reasonable steps to ensure that you are made aware of the information provided to us by the third party.

- To manage client relationships and contracts
- To improve our products, services and user experience
- To comply with legal and regulatory obligations

We may disclose personal information to:

If you do not agree to the transfer of your personal information outside of Australia and/or New Zealand, please contact us. Your Personal Information is stored in a manner that reasonably protects it from misuse and loss and from unauthorized access, modification or disclosure. We implement reasonable security measures to protect personal information from unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure.
Personal information is retained only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined or as required by law (e.g., minimum of 7 years for client records).

Dealing with SuccessCX Anonymously?
SuccessCX will provide you with the opportunity to remain anonymous or to use a pseudonym in your dealings with us where it is lawful and practicable (for example, when making a general enquiry). Generally, it is not practicable for SuccessCX to deal with individuals anonymously or via a pseudonym on an ongoing basis. If we do not collect personal information about you, we may not be able to provide you with products or services.
Data Breach Notification
In accordance with the Australian Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme and New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, we will notify affected individuals and relevant authorities of any breach involving personal information that poses a risk of serious harm.
