This article will provide instructions on how to use the Footer links within the Health and Wellness Theme. There are two 'modes' available when using the links, either Simple (display 1 link) or Advanced (display up to eight links and a header).
Simple vs Advanced
Simple | Advanced |
How to setup Simple Footer Links
Simply enter the Title of the link, a '=' symbol, and then the url.
Example:
Link 1 = http://www.google.com/
How to setup Advanced Footer Links
The advanced links follow a specific structure. We recommend simply copying this and altering the Titles and URL's, and then pasting this into Guide, as it's much easier to visually see and edit outside of the single line input within the Theme settings.
Notes on structure:
- A header name must be given. This is entered as TITLE = Name of Header
- Each link need to have a '||' separating it from the other links and title
- Links are formatted as Link name = Link URL
- You can optionally add 'new_window' after a link to stipulate that it will be opened in a new window, instead of the current window.
- You can use a maximum of eight links.
- If using Dynamic content (which can be activated for the whole Theme within the Advanced Settings), the Dynamic content names are preset, and can be found in the error message.
Template:
TITLE = Footer Header 1 ||
Link 1 = https://www.successcx.com = new_window ||
Link 2 = https://www.successcx.com ||
Link 3 = https://www.successcx.com = new_window ||
Link 4 = https://www.successcx.com ||
Link 5 = https://www.successcx.com = new_window ||
Link 6 = https://www.successcx.com = new_window ||
Link 7 = https://www.successcx.com ||
Link 8 = https://www.successcx.com = new_window ||
Real world example:
TITLE = Support ||
Contact us = https://help.successcx.com/hc/requests/new ||
Returns Policy = https://www.successcx.com/returns ||
Help Centre = https://help.successcx.com/hc/ ||
Book an appointment = https://www.successcx.com/appointment = new_window ||
Would render as:
